V.I. Vernadsky Institute
of Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry of Russian Academy
of Sciences
The Institute was founded in March, 1947, on the basis of
the V.I.Vernadsky Laboratory for Geochemical Problems of AS
USSR. Its founder and the first director is academician A.P.
Vinogradov. At the present moment V.I. Vernadsky Institute
of Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry is one of the major
Institutes of the Russian Academy of Science.
The Institute works in the field of researches of Physicochemical
Theories of Geological Processes, Minerals Bedding Forecasting,
