Marjana Novic received M.Sc. in Computer Chemistry in 1983 and Ph.D. in Chemistry in 1985 from the University of Ljubljana. She worked as a postdoc in University of Lausanne, Switzerland, with Professor G. Bodenhausen (1986-1987); in University of Tarragona, Spain, with Professor X. Rius (1993); in University of Cordoba, Spain, with professor M. Valcarcel (1997); in University of Tasmania, Australia, with professor Paul Haddad (2003). Since 1979 she work in the Laboratory for Chemometrics of National Institute of Chemistry, Ljubljana, Slovenia. The fields of research: Chemometrics, Information Systems in Chemistry, Computer Supported Structure Elucidation, Pattern Recognition, Computer Simulation of Learning Process, Neural Networks, New Structure Representations, QSAR modelling. |
