Irene Kouskoumvekaki received M.S. in Chemical Engineering at Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Department of Technology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1998, and Ph.D in Chemical Engineering at Department of Chemical Engineering, Technical University of Denmark in 2004. Currently she works as an Assistant Professor in the group of Chemoinformatics, Center for Biological Sequence Analysis, BioCentrum of Technical University of Denmark. Research area: Development of computational tools for use in the drug discovery and optimization processes (prediction of pH-dependent solubility of drugs, phenotypic classification of A. nidulans strains based on metabolomics data, development of chemoinformatics and chemogenomics tools for the reintegration of natural products in the search for novel drugs). Author of 13 papers published in peer-reviewed journals. Participant of 9 International conferences with poster or oral presentations. |
