Nathalie GMarchand-Geneste (LPTC - ISM UMR 5255 CNRS - University Bordeaux 1, France)
Nathalie Marchand-Geneste received her Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry in 1997 from the University Bordeaux, France. Then, she obtained a postdoctoral position in the Computational Biology group headed by Pr. R.D. King at the University of Aberystwyth, Wales, where she applied Inductive Logic Programming for 3-dimensional structure based drug design. She became lecturer in 2001 at the University Bordeaux, France. Her scientific interests are the development and application of computer-based methods such as quantum chemistry, molecular dynamics, docking and QSAR in the environmental sciences and drug design.
