Tad Hurst received his B.S. degrees in Chemistry and in Mathematics from Rose Hulman Institute in Terre Haute, Indiana (USA), and received his Ph.D. in Physical Organic Chemistry from the University of Illinois. After a post-doctoral appointment at the University of Texas, Dr. Hurst joined Monsanto Company in St. Louis, Missouri (USA) where he worked on Chem-info database systems and 3D design systems. After 5 years at Monsanto, Dr. Hurst joined Tripos, where he worked as Vice President of Research and Development. Dr. Hurst remained at Tripos for 9 years, and then joined Scott Hutton as the founders of ChemNavigator, where he currently serves as the Chief Technical Officer. |
