Roman G. Efremov (M.M.Shemyakin and Yu.A.Ovchinnikov Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian Federation)
Roman G. Efremov graduated from the Moscow Engineering-Physics Institute in 1983. He received D.Sc. (2000) and Ph.D. (1986) degrees in Physics & Mathematics from M.V. Lomonosov State University (Moscow). Since 1986 works at the M.M. Shemyakin & Yu.A. Ovchinnikov Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, Russian Academy of Sciences. Currently, he is a Head of the Laboratory of Biomolecular Modeling. Research interests: molecular biophysics; protein structure/dynamics/function; computer simulations of proteins and their complexes with membranes and ligands; computer-aided molecular design. Dr. R. Efremov has more than 90 papers published in peer-reviewed international journals.
