Progress in Electromagnetics Research Symposium (PIERS) provides an international forum for reporting progress and recent advances in the modern development of electromagnetic theory and its new and exciting applications. Topics include radiation, propagation, diffraction, scattering, guidance, resonance, power, energy and force issues, and all other modern developments.
Since 1989 PIERS has become one of the largest world events for dissemination of advanced knowledge and methods in modern electronmagnetics, attracting up to a thousand of participants. PIERS was held more than 20 times in different countries including USA, China, Japan, France, Italy. In 2009 for the first time PIERS was held in Russia.

Progress in Electromagnetics Research Symposium
International Symposium "Progress in Electromagnetics Research Symposium" [PIERS 2009], providing the support by IVTN.ru, has taken place from August 18th to 21th 2009 in Moscow. For the first time PIERS Symposium was held in Russia.
